Pakistan to Launch PayPal Alternative in 3-4 Months: Asad Umar

We might be able to see the PayPal or an alternative in the coming 3 to 4 months.

PayPal is a well known and international online payment platform which is very famous amongst freelancers and it has been requested multiple times in Pakistan.

It’s mainly very useful for online freelancers or bloggers, youtubers, content writers, online service providers & many other things where Pakistanis could very easily get their payments from entities overseas without any currency transfer hassle.

Asad Umar (Minister of Finance) Pakistan, said that PayPal or a similar payment service is going to be very soon introduced in Pakistan within coming few months 3 to 4 exactly he said.

In a TV interview, where the finance minister Asad Umar has discussed that how talented people in Pakistan that they can make dollars while sitting at home, so for those talented and hard working people. We are going to introduce very soon a service like PayPal.

Pakistan’s Economy

Pakistan is currently under a very bad economic condition, with a huge budget deficit that might take a lot more work to control. Asad Umer has pointed that the best way to deal with this is to start working from the small businesses sector.

Asad Umar said that Pakistan has a huge talent of youngsters. They need a international payment platform like PayPal, to bring the dollars from Freelance work.

Now it’s only said that the alternative to PayPal will be introduced very soon between 3 to 4 months, but it is yet very unclear. Will this platform be worth like PayPal? Because PayPal has one of the top best features that impressed millions. PayPal is of course not operated in Pakistan due to PayPal own decisions but yet Pakistani Citizens use it.
