PM Khan Launches App to Bring Govt to People’s Doorsteps

On the directives of Imran Khan, The Prime Minister of Pakistan, recently Islamabad administration has launched a brand new mobile app for the individual of the federal capital that will provide them with various services at his or her doorsteps.

Prime Minister Imran Khan made the announcement in a Tweet:

“Today my Govt fulfilled another commitment when I launched the ICT City app brining govt directly to ppl’ doorstep and all city depts together. This has become ever more critical during this time of COVID-19 pandemic.”

At the present time when staying home is the only way to stop the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic. This brand new ICT City app will automatically facilitate home-bound citizens by providing important services in a few clicks.

Imran Khan said that after successful testing in Islamabad, the brand app could be replicated across the country.

Through this brand app, the federal administration aims to provide more than 43 different online services in collaboration with the NITB {National Information Technology Board} and the NADRA {National Database and Registration Authority}.

Some of the primary services on offer include e-policing, emergency services, NIC, Domiciles, Passports, Arms licenses, Vehicles registration, Token tax payments, Birth and death certificates, and many more services.

Furthermore, he added that the brand app also contains COVID-19 related information; Folks can register a complaint against any medical store selling masks and other sanitary equipment at exorbitant prices.

The federal administration will also ensure a timely response to the shortage of goods, including vital medical supplies.
