As of the competition and requirements in today worlds, most nursing positions require a bachelors and master degree in nursing.

Just getting the degree for yourself in nursing is not enough. You have to be at the right place to study if you are planning a long-term career.

If we talk about Florida so there are different top nursing schools you have to check if you are serious about nursing.


University of Florida College of Nursing: The University was established in 1956. With more than 11,000 students were graduated to date.

It is the nursing school of the University of Florida. The college is located on the Gainesville, Florida, United States. If we talk about the accreditation so the college is fully accredited, and it is one of the six academic colleges and school that constitute J. Hillis Miller Health Science Center.

The college is ranked among the top ten percent granting nursing schools in the United States. Jacksonville University: A private university in Jacksonville, Florida, United States. It is first founded in 1934 as a two-year college named as Jacksonville junior college until September 5, 1956. The college changed to Jackson University in June 1959 when they start the first four-year degree. The university is totally accredited by SACS and the AACSB. Some of the well-known personalities of U.S are its notable alumni. The motto of the university is “Let There Be Light”.

University of Miami: The University was established in 1925, and a motto of the university is “Great is the truth”.

It is a private nonsectarian research university located in Coral Gables, Florida. The record in 2017 displayed about the 17,003 students was enrolled.

They are studying BSN, MSN and DNP programs and a lot of specializations too. The program for nursing students can be easily found by them at the University of Miami.

After graduation, the student can easily qualify for any exams. As the 94% of the BSN students passing the NCLEX on their first try.

Nova Southeastern University NSU: The former name of the university was Nova University of Advanced technology. It is a private university established in 1965 with a motto “Engage, Inspire, and Achieve”. The enrollment of the students is around 21,000 in 2017 to 2018. The university has produced around 185,000 alumni. The university was built during the World War 2.

The university offers professional programs including Nursing. It is classified as the high research and community-engaged university by the Carnegie Foundation for the advancement of Teaching. The university is also accredited by the SACS and also has some additional Accreditation for its colleges and programs. The university is accredited by the American Psychological Association and by the Florida Department of education.

The RN to BSN and RN to MSN programs are the highlighted of Nova Southeastern Universities nursing school. They prepare the nurses for professional carriers. This might be a good option for the registered nurses who need a good push to move forward in their career. The online study options are also available for nursing students.
