How to Think Like a Billionaire [Top 7 Easy Steps to Become One]

I have been an entrepreneur for a long time. I am fortunate to find success with several of my online businesses and company JahaSoft that I founded, I have been privilege to work with some of outstanding people around the world.

I am thankful to the Internet, that changes my life. I have found some of the amazing minds to follow and learn from. I am the least educated person in my Family, but everything today I am is of course with the help of parents and the tool that changed my life is Internet.

So, let find out some of the most common things that are usually found in billionaires.

What are they like? What sets those that build billion dollar businesses apart from the average entrepreneur? As for as my experience is concerned, those that achieve truly spectacular success usually share a few very common characteristics about how they approach their work and their lives. Here are some of the important differences:

  • Forget Passion. You Need Obsession:

Maybe you have heard from many people, book etc. But I don’t agree. To be successful in life is not about the passion; its all about being obsessed.

Suppose, if you can sleep well, that’s not the sort of obsession I am talking about. If you have to get up on stage and tell anyone that I am really passionate about X’,

it’s too late. People have to tell YOU that you are obsessed about something. You should not be telling them.

  • Details Aren’t Beneath You:

To get a crazy idea to a billion dollars, you not only have to be obsessed but you also have to believe that no detail is too small to deserve your attention.

Often, in the early stages of building a business, companies often fail because, they missed some small detail. They rarely fail because you missed the big picture.

  • Get to Know People Who are Nothing Like You:

We often learn the most from those people who are least like us, be that an expert in a very different field from your own or even homeless person.

The billionaires do not only seek out and talk to those that resemble them; they are open to building relationship with anyone from all walks of life.

This is of course true, when it comes to the real life, while attending a party, and even finding a co-founder. Your ideal co-founder is absolutely unlike you and fills in the skill you lack.

  • There are Two Paths to a Billion:

To become one like a billionaire, at least conceptually, it is really, really easy.

Actually you need to be type of person who solves a $10 billion problem. It should be obvious, but it’s worth repeating.

You can’t become billionaire by solving a $10 million problem.

How do You find a Problem on this Massive Scale? There are two ways to think big enough (So big that if people call you crazy, you know you are on the right track).

The first step to become a billionaire is to solve a billion people problem. If you can solve a problem like that, even if it’s a problem with a modestly priced solution, you will be on your way to being a billionaire.

The alternative to this is to solve a problem that is so painful, so big for a small group of people, that they are willing to pay a large amount to fix it.

For Example: A cure for a certain type of diseases like Cancer, it wouldn’t impact billions of people, but the people it does impact would be willing to pay almost any price for it.

  • The World Runs on a Friendship and Trust

Most of the people, or you might have heard the old sayings, “It’s not what you know; it’s who you know.”

But I think it’s a partial truth. In business and in the life, knowing people is not enough – who genuinely likes and trusts you is the essential thing. RIGHT.

  • When It Comes to Relationship, Quality Beats Quantity:

Some of the people thinks that the more business cards they give out, the more hands they shake the better.

I have completely different point of view.

Any time you make more than a couple of friends at any event, I think that you actually made no friends.

Building a small number of deep, meaningful connections is far more better and important than just filling up your address book with casual acquaintances.

  • Humility is the Surest Sign of Success:

In life, we all struggle and keep on to make progress. How do you know when you have successfully reached success?

A billion dollar is a good sign, but there’s a better one humility.

You know you have reached a true success the day you become truly humble. that’s the day you stop needing to prove to the world and yourself that you have accomplished something meaningful in life.

If you have on iota of arrogance left, you still have a ways to go.

Focus on a living a life of a significance beyond just being financially successful.
