Blasphemy: FIR Registered on CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg at Faisalabad

Mark Zuckerberg can’t think of coming to Pakistan, its because someone filed a FIR on CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg for allowing blasphemous caricatures of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), FIR was registered at the Kotwali Police Station in Jhang.

The FIR no 134/12, was registered after Adv. M. Zahid Saeed, filed a petition before the district judge seeking a ban on websites including Facebook, YouTube, Google and others.

This wasn’t the first time seeking a permanent ban on Facebook. In September 2011, Lahore High Court ordered the ministry of information and technology to block access to all websites spreading religious hatred.

The judge also clearly stated that no search engine including Google would be blocked.

Despite the assurance, a case was registered under the Section of 295-A of the Pakistan Penal Code (PCC) which deals with blasphemy.

FIR is still registered against CEO of Facebook Mr. Mark Zuckerberg at Faisalabad for blasphemy and hurting millions of Muslims.
